Just had some new cheesecake recipes submitted to my web site.

I have recently had two people submit baked cheesecake recipes to my web site that I can’t wait to try. The first one is for Cheesecake Divine and the other one is for Ricotta Cheesecake. They both sound wonderful. The person that submitted the Ricotta Cheesecake even makes her own cheeses!

Boston Cream Cheesecake Recipe

The rich flavors of my Boston Cream Cheesecake always have my friends begging for more.  This one is a winner!

Do You Like Coconut?

coconutIf you think you would like the cool, creamy taste of fresh coconut blended into rich cheesecake batter, you might want to check out the Coconut Cheesecake recipe I posted on my site.

The recipe as posted is delicious but it can surely be dressed up with nuts or chocolate to make it even more special for that next big dinner event.

The Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake Was Delicious!

I garnished the cheesecake that I took to the dinner last night with chopped peanut butter cups and decorated the cake border with whipped topping. It tasted just as good as it looked. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and I got a lot of compliments. I guess I will have to take different cheesecake every time we have a dinner because I heard from a lot of people that cheesecake is one of their favorite desserts.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

What did you and your sweetheart do for Valentine’s Day? We all know that this is the most romantic day of the year and what is more romantic than a delicious cheesecake served after that special dinner?

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day

I know it’s a little too late for this year but if you would like an idea on how to make next year’s romantic day more special, why not bake a heart shaped cheesecake? Heart shaped pans are readily available for purchase if you don’t already own one.

One great cheesecake recipe suggestion for next year might be New York Style Cheesecake garnished with chocolate covered strawberries. Some other suggestions are Rich Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake, Raspberry Fudge Cheesecake, White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake and Raspberry Cinnamon Cheesecake to name a few.

My Pick For the Potluck Dinner

Tonight is the potluck dinner at church. I reviewed a lot of great recipes and finally decided to make the Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake…decadent chunks of peanut butter cups baked into a rich cheesecake batter. I plan to garnish it with more peanut butter cups and whipped topping. I’ll update you later on how it went over.

Highly Recommended Cheesecake Recipe

A friend of mine at work was telling me about an amazing cheesecake she had over the weekend. She said it was a banana cheesecake and was delicious. She must have mentioned it 3 or 4 times during the day so I guess I will have to try it. I have made some changes to the recipe to make it similar to the one she had.

The one she had was just plain banana but I bet it would be excellent if some melted chocolate was added or possibly even some nuts! I will garnish it with similar ingredients to what she had on hers but that can be changed according to taste.

Picking the Right Cheesecake to Take to a Potluck Dinner

We were just reminded in church today that there is going to be a potluck dinner there next week. We are each supposed to bring a casserole but I asked if that was what we had to bring and if they needed desserts.

My husband said that of course I probably would bring a cheesecake! Now the only problem is deciding which one. I have to decide if I am going to take a baked cheesecake, a no-bake cheesecake or just a cheesecake dessert. Luckily I have several days to decide what to take and I know that whatever I decide on, it is sure to be a hit!
